ShellBau panels
The Shellbau construction consists of two main elements: SIP (Structured Insulated Panel) and double wooden beams (I-beams). These elements interconnected form the load-bearing frame structure of the building, while the cement board, constituting the external and internal SIP surfaces, ties all this into a monolithic structure, providing the building with spatial stability and strength.
The system is without thermal bridges, meeting the A++ energy efficiency class. The components are universal, not dependent on a specific project, and often stockpiled, so when building a standard building, the timeframe can be just a few days. The Shellbau system is used for the foundation, walls, floors, and roof structures. The elements are lightweight, so special equipment is not needed; it is enough for two people to assemble them. The building structure does not settle, so exterior and interior finishing can begin shortly after assembling the main structures. This gives significant advantage to this technology compared to standard construction. The main house structures are manufactured in the factory and only assembled on-site. The assembly process does not involve „wet” technology, so construction is possible at any time of the year.
